Death of Two Young Persons.

Mr. JOHN S. BURGE, youngest son of W. T. Burge, died on Friday, 4th inst., at 6 ½ o’clock, A. M., of typhoid fever, in the 18th year of his age.  He attended the picnic at Stilesboro the first day of May and was taken to his bed on that night and expired at the above time mentioned.  The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. J. Singleton on the following day and his remains interred at the family cemetery near home.

Miss MINNIE CLIDE ANSLEY, youngest daughter of Mr. Thomas A. Ansley, living in Taylorsville, died of the same disease on Tuesday, the 15th inst., at 1 o’clock, P. M.  She was taken ill on Saturday, the 5th, and lingered only 11 days when she peacefully passed away, aged 16 years.  Her remains were followed by a large number of friends and relatives to the cemetery near Mrs. Wm. Cunyus and peacefully laid away.  C. H. C.
