Died Thursday
Short Illness

Adairsville, March 5 – (Special) – J. F. Anderson passed away at his home Thursday afternoon, March 5th at five o’clock following an illness of four months. Born in Hayesville, NC 80 years ago, son of John and Polly Robers (sic) Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was a member of the Methodist church for more than 60 years – a modest quiet Christian man - a model citizen, friend and neighbor. Mrs. Anderson died June 28, 1929.

Survived by G. S. Anderson, Cartersville, Rt. 3; Mrs. A. L. Pressley, Atco, GA; Mrs. H. E. Holmes, Cassville, GA: Mrs. J. F. Greene, Taylorsville, GA; Mrs. J. C. Luke, Atlanta, GA; Mrs. J. C. Lowry, Hermitage, GA; Mrs. J. S. Hall, Kennesaw, GA.

Impressive funeral services were held at the Cassville Methodist church, Saturday morning. Rev. Mr. Ulm, the pastor officiating. Pallbearers were his grandsons. W. P. Whitworth funeral directors in charge.
