Mrs. Fannie Allen Died Monday Pine Log Home

Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Proctor Allen, of Pine Log, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock from the Oak Hill Cemetery, Rydal, with the Rev. Weldon Scroggins, and the Rev. Joe Nix conducting the service. Owen Funeral Home was in charge of the service, and the pallbearers were Hubert Cox, John L. Lipscomb, Harris Scroggins, Juan Smith, Emory Vincent, and David Wilson.

Mrs. Allen passed away at her home following a lingering illness. She was 69 years old.

She is survived by her husband, George Allen; a son, Gus Allen, of Pine Log; four daughters; Mrs. Sam Galaway, of Acworth, Mrs. Gabriel Harrison, Rome; Mrs. Inez Martin, Cartersville; Mrs. Adez Troglin, Ellijay; two brothers, Will Proctor, Adairsville, Henry Proctor, Shannon, Mrs. Lemma Maddox, Shannon, and Mrs. John Allen, Adairsville.
