Mr. John R. Adair.

Mr. John R. Adair, Esq., of Pine Log, Ga., died January 4 th, 1896, after a few days sickness of paralysis of the throat. He was 72 years of age. Esquire Adair had been a citizen of Pine Log for many years. He was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He was a prominent mason; a consistent member of the Methodist church; a kind friend and good neighbor, and an affectionate husband and father. There now remain only two of the old men who settled Pine Log when he did.

He has gone to his reward, leaving behind, his good wife, four sons and three daughters, and an unspotted, exemplary character for them to follow.
