An Old Relic.

Mr. H. J. Mills, who formerly carried the mail between here and Ludville, Pickens county, has in his possession a relic of a rare valuable kind.  It is an old newspaper published in Montreal, Canada, in 1790 -91, called the Montreal Gazette.  It is in magazine form, with the old English in one column and French for the same alongside with it.  It is a legacy of almost priceless worth to Mr. Mills, which has come on down three generations of the family, and has been in almost every State in the Union.  It is in old style English, with our “f” used as “s,” and other alphabetical changes which the advance of time has wrought in English idioms and literature.
