Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Carson and Miss Alice Carson, of Palestine, Texas, who have been the guests of Judge and Mrs. G. W. Hendricks for several weeks, left Wednesday for the home in Palestine, Texas.

Mrs. Mary Cope, who has been the guest of her son, Mr. Harris Cope, for several weeks, was called hurriedly to Savannah one day last week, to attend the funeral of her brother, who died suddenly.

Mrs. L. E. Kay has been very sick, but is better now.  We hope she will soon be well.

Miss Eva Kay, of Tennessee, is visiting relatives here this week.

Euharlee.

Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Kay and little daughter, Louise, have returned to Rome after spending several weeks with the latter’s mother, Mrs. T. H. Powell.

Mr. John Mullinax is all smiles, ‘tis a girl.
