Enjoyable Occasion.

Tuesday was the occasion of an enjoyable affair at the residence of J. L. Miller on east side, it being the 64th anniversary of his birth.  A few of his neighbors partook of his hospitality and gave up the day to neighborly enjoyment.  Grandfather James Terrell was remembered by being sent a bountiful share of the good things from the table.  When the guests left in the evening they all expressed themselves as being well entertained and as having enjoyed themselves, also wishing ye host many returns of the occasion.  He was remembered by some tokens as keep sakes.

Kingston has a newspaper, the Kingston Times.  It is owned and published by a company made up of the enterprising business men of this town and edited by Mr. Fackler.  The first number is a bright, breezy sheet – a real credit to the town and the editor and publishers.  Kingston is a growing town and we know of nothing more likely to give her a strong push forward than a real live newspaper.  We wish the venture all sorts of success.  The entry of the Times into the arena makes three newspapers for Bartow county.
