“The City.” Capt. Dick Hargis, the veteran and popular conductor of the W. & A., lately handling the punch and bell cord on the Florida limited, is enjoying a short spell off duty, on account of being somewhat indisposed. Capt. Hargis is immensely popular with his home people, and everybody he meets enjoys a few words of his pleasant conversation. Capt. Hargis, when he came out of the civil war, a young soldier boy, took to railroading and has been a faithful man in the service ever since. |
