Sad---an old colored man was ran over by an engine near the depot, on the W. & A. R. R. Wednesday afternoon, about 5 o’clock, p. m., breaking one of his legs, rendering amputation necessary.  He is quite old. No blame attached to the engineer or any one—purely accidental.
