From a conversation with some of the new board, we learn that they will probably continue in force the order of the old board, prohibiting the burial of the dead in the Baptist grave-yard, and will proceed to open the new one, the old Methodist grave-yard, with a little additional land; lay it off, clean it up, enclose it, and sell off lots; they do not propose to remove the dead from the former one, but leave that to the discretion of their friends. |
