“Local News In Brief.” Mrs. Julian Crenshaw, widow of Captain Crenshaw, has been granted a pension by the pension department at Washington, of $20 each month. ******************** Mr. F. M. Willis, of Emerson, is enjoying a visit from his brother, who he has not seen for over twenty years, and whose home is in Parker county, Texas. ******************** Page 8. Crow’s Spring. Mr. William Crow is visiting relatives and friends in Georgia, after a stay of thirty years in Texas. There was a turkey dinner and a reunion of the Crow family at Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hall’s New Year’s day. They all report a good time. |
