Mrs. Frankie Leachman was struck with paralysis Saturday last and is serious yet.  She is the oldest in the community being some 80 years of age, while her husband Uncle Tom says he is 104, and served in the war of 1812, for which he is on the pension roll and also served in the Indian war.  They moved to this community long before the Indians left and have lived near the same place ever since and are very highly respected.

Mrs. Stroup wife of the late Elisha Stroup we are sorry to learn is very sick.

Adairsville.

Reuben Gaines, our aged citizen who has been so ill for more than a week, state that he is not improving.
