“Brief Local Items.”

Mr. Lem Gilreath is all smiles over the arrival of a fine new boy at his house.

The remains of Mr. W. W. Waddell were carried from Atlanta to Cedartown, through Cartersville, on last Saturday. The young man was 26 years of age and died at the home of his father, Maj. J. O. Waddell, at Copenhill, Atlanta, on Friday. He was employed by the Seaboard Air Line Railroad and was a worthy young man and well thought of. The numerous friends of the family in this part of the state sympathize with them in their grief.
