“Over the County—Cass Station.”

On the evening of the fifth Sunday of Decembers a few friends were invited to the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Walker to witness the baptism of their infant daughter, little Mary Bess. The rite was administered by Rev. Mr. Bell, pastor of the circuit, and little Mary received the water upon her head in token of the inward cleansing with a sweet smile upon her baby face. Mr. Bell remarked after the service that he had during his ministry baptized over three hundred infants and never had one to cry.
