Mr. John Cox, an old land-mark, now eighty-four years old, returned home to Rockmart, last week.

It is not because he has been appointed road commissioner that Mr. O. C. Bradford wears those sweet, sunny smiles, but it is the sudden appearance of a young lady visitor – about a nine pounder.

Cedartown.

The Rev. Wm. P. Wood and wife, Francis E. Wood, have issued a card cordially inviting their friends to attend their golden wedding to be celebrated at the Baptist church in Cedartown on Monday evening, Jan. 30th, at 6:30 o’clock.
